Zentangle People

Last year, our current fifth graders created zentangles.  To add a bit of a twist to a new zentangle lesson, students sketched the contour of a person, added patterns and designs with a sharpie marker and then traced around the figure with markers.  The finished works are bright and colorful.  Several kids said this lesson was one of their favorites so far.

    These are so cool! Kind of reminds me a little of Keith Haring too(one of my favorite’s!).
