Fall Pumpkins

October 7, 2011

I love this idea from deepspacesparkle.com.  First grade students took time to paint sun colors on white construction paper.  They dribbled white paint onto the paper to top it off.  Next, they painted another sheet of white paper with green, blue, brown and purple.  The following day, they cut up their paper to create a pumpkin patch scene.  We added tissue paper for the grass and used the gold paint to create vines and the sections on the pumpkins.  They are hanging in the front of our school, welcoming everyone to Carver.  These creations really put you in the mood of fall.
