Monet Clay Water Lilies

November 11, 2012

Third graders spent four weeks working on art activities that mirrored French artist Claude Monet.  They were most excited about their clay water lilies!  Each water lily was formed with their hands and then later painted with ceramic paint.  I can’t wait to show the kids their water lilies this week.  They also used oil pastel and watercolor paint to create the famous bridge scene over the pond.  Outstanding work, third graders!
